Working Principle

Slurry and Air Intake
The ore slurry enters the flotation tank, while the machine’s self-priming function draws in air without needing external compressors.

Mixing and Air Dispersion
The impeller rotates, creating strong turbulence that thoroughly mixes the air, slurry, and reagents. This ensures even air dispersion and promotes the formation of fine air bubbles.

Bubble-Particle Attachment
The air bubbles rise through the slurry and attract valuable mineral particles, forming mineralized bubbles due to hydrophobic interactions. Waste materials remain in the slurry.

Froth Formation and Collection
The mineral-laden bubbles accumulate at the surface, forming a stable froth layer, while unwanted materials sink to the bottom.

Concentrate Discharge
The froth, containing valuable minerals, overflows from the flotation cell and is collected for further processing, while the remaining slurry is discharged as tailings.
