Basic Process
- Petroleum coke needs to be crushed to a certain degree of fineness before it is calcined in rotary kiln, so that it can be calcined in a uniform depth. But it should not be too fine to prevent excessive powder and increase calcination loss.

(1) Grinding Stage:
The calcined petroleum coke is fed into the main grinding room for grinding. The fines after grinding are sent to the analyzer for grading under the action of fan air flow. The fines with qualified fineness enter the collecting stage through the outlet pipe. -
(2) Collecting Stage:
The dust gas enters the cyclone collector. Under the action of centrifugal force, most of the finished fine powder is separated. Redundant gas is discharged and sent to pulse dust collector, then it becomes clean gas. Fine powder collected by cloth bags is transported to the conveying stage of finished products through screw conveyor. -
(3) Conveying Stage:
The finished ore powder collected by dust collector and cyclone collector is sent to the next process by screw conveyor. -
(4) Finished Product Stage:
After calculating, weighing and focusing with aggregates and binders of various sizes, the petroleum coke powder is kneaded to make all kinds of raw materials mix plastic forming.

(2) Calcined Coke (low sulphur and high quality): Used to Make Graphite Electrode
Applicable Material: low sulphur, high quality calcined coke
Production Fineness: 200mesh ＞D70
- Calcined coke with low sulphur and high quality, such as needle coke, is mainly used to manufacture ultra-high power graphite electrodes and some special carbon products. In the steel-making industry, needle coke is an important material for developing new technology of electric furnace steelmaking.
